slavery in Ulster County New York, she was named Isabella Baumfree
by her Dutch master, who called her Bell, and spoke only Dutch
until the age of then. She was sold many times. She grew to be a
great lecturer, Sojourner Truth traveled to speak in many states
she gives her famous speak in Akron Ohio 1851 “Ain’t I a Woman” At
the National Women’s Rights Convention.
